Travel and Tourism of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre (Dhaka) in Bangladesh

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre is an attractive infrastructure with most modern architectureal view. It is located on Bijoy Sarani, Tejgaon at the centre of the Dhaka City having 5.46 acres of land. Besides planetarium show, Ride Simulator, 3-D film show and some scientific exhibits are displayed in Novo Theatre.

The Dhaka Bhasani Novo Theatre has aroused a great deal of inquisitiveness amongst the general public. Some have imagined it to be a theatre promoting the cultural arts while it is in fact a theatre built in order to endorse astronomy. The planetarium displays the solar systems through a special projector and facilitates us to gain a wider acquaintance of outer space and our enormous well as learn more about stars, their names, movements etc. with the help of methodically powerful projector inside the planetarium, the excessive shows are displayed on a large curved domed screen on the celling. This curved ceiling represents the sky and shows moving images of plants and starts through a projection onto a large-screen dome at an angle of 120 degrees. At the time of protuberance, the planetary system is also for the better indulgent of the spectators, interpreted in both Bengali and English.

This Novo Theatre is not only regarded as a classroom of general study, but it also provides scientific knowledge among the students society. It has empowered in its belongings along with extremely mind-keeping projector systems such as, Astrotec perforated aluminum curtain, GSS-Helios Space Simulator produced by GOTO Optical industrialized Company, Astrovision-70 and many other special effects projectors. This Theatre is a unique centre for science education through full entertainments unlike classroom education. This will provide planet show ‘Journey to Infinity’ directed by Dr. Bill Gutsch where unparallel films, GSS-Helios and Astrovision-70, will bring the audience into an imaging dream. Superb images could come up from highly dedicated projector, striking astrovision clips and sky-scan videos will move the spectators to a journey to Solar System, which will move the audience to a journey to Solar System, which will unfold ultimate limit to the visible universe and Milky Way Galaxy. Finally that would offer us the scenarios of death of a star as well as how it would be lost into a Black Hole.
